These are actually very stable, I was really surprised; I was expecting this air pocket to create bounce and it doesn't.
Updates to Nike Zoom Domination TR 2
- The Nike Zoom Domination TR 2 is a training shoe for men. It employs an abrasion-resistant mesh upper which is also breathable to keep the foot chamber aerated.
- Lateral-steadiness in this model is ensured by the thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) heel cage that integrates with the lacing system. There’s also an internal cage at the midfoot to support side-to-side movements.
- The midsole is made of the Nike Zoom technology. This platform uses pressurized air and thin filaments to amplify shock attenuation.
- This version looks vastly different from the original Nike Zoom Domination which has a textile upper and employs Flywire cables on the lace-up closure. Even the outsole construction between these two models are different. However, the technology they do share is the Zoom Air midsole.
Nike Zoom Domination TR 2 size and fit
Male athletes can avail the Nike Zoom Domination TR 2 in US sizes 6 to 15, including half sizes. The trainer comes only in a D – Medium width profile. The upper mesh material is designed to hug the foot, while the lace-up system allows users to adjust the fit.
The Nike Zoom Domination TR 2 employs a full-length rubber outsole. This compound is crafted to withstand abrasion. The flex grooves enhance the flexibility of this layer. The tread pattern on this model is designed to promote traction in different directions.
This footgear is equipped with the Nike Zoom midsole. This cushioning technology uses a combination of pressurized air trapped in a chamber that contains taut fibers. They work together to deliver a platform that quickly snaps back to its original form after it absorbs impact. This construction ensures that the impact won’t stress the joints, tendons, and muscles of the lower extremities.
The Nike Zoom Domination TR 2 employs a mesh upper with abrasion-resistant properties. This material is also breathable, ensuring that the inside is kept fresh. Inside, an internal cage is found at the midfoot. This construction locks the foot in place and offers support during lateral movements.
This trainer utilizes a traditional lacing system. A broad band integrates with the laces. This strap wraps around the rearfoot and it goes through a slot in the TPU heel cage that extends to the midsole. This element heightens the steadiness of the heel.
The plush collar and tongue help to keep the fit snug. The soft lining inside delivers a smooth surrounding that prevents chafing and blisters.
