Lakers), Bobby Jones (Philadelphia 76ers), Calvin Natt (Portland Trail Blazers), Mychal Thompson (Portland Trail Blazers), and Jamaal Wilkes (L.A. Lakers).
The Air Force 1 was discontinued in 1984 due to an unknown reason. But because of the huge clamor from the masses to reissue the classic pair, Nike came up with the thought of retro-ing the shoe. In 1986, the AF1 came back with a bang in sales and it was such a historic event for the AF1 fans. To date, nearly 2,000 versions of the Air Force 1 has been released by the Swoosh company.

He and his team were able to keep the integrity of the original AF1 and merged with the breathability and lightness of the Nike Flyknit technology. It weighs approximately just half of the original release. The AF1 Ultra Flyknit has been the lightest Air Force 1 shoe ever made and the first Flyknit shoe to contain the leather Swoosh logo.
