The Nike LunarCharge Essential is available in men’s and women’s sizing. This shoe runs small, so ordering a full or half size up larger than the usual size is recommended.  It has a low-top silhouette that allows the ankle to move freely. Also, it is equipped with a lace-up closure system that allows an adjustable and comfortable fit.

This low-top sneaker has a sock-like or cleatie construction that provides flexibility. Also, the upper is made of a combination of mesh, suede, and neoprene materials, providing sufficient foot breathability.

A combination of fitness and style is what the Nike LunarCharge Essential represents. Though originally designed as a lifestyle shoe from Nike, it proves its versatility as it can function as both a running and a walking shoe and also as an essential part of a fashion wardrobe. Aside from using the shoe when out for a hike or when training in the gym, one can also use these pair of kicks as a street style outfit finish.

The shoe can also be a good option if one prefers a more casual look. The Nike LunarCharge Essential is great when paired with some skinny jeans, jogger jeans, joggers, cuffed pants, leggings for women, and as well as a pair of shorts.

The provided comfort of the Nike LunarCharge Essential is the first thing that the buyers notice when they put on the shoe. They enjoy the comfortable and lightweight feeling they get when wearing the shoe.

They also were really glad about how the shoe kept their foot from hurting even after a long day of walking around. The offered colorways of the shoe also caught the attention of the buyers. They enjoyed how it complements the style of the shoe.

From the archives of the Nike brand, four of their iconic shoes were taken inspiration from in order to create a new silhouette. With one design taken from each of the shoes and combined together, thus the birth of the Nike LunarCharge.

The Air Max 90 gave inspiration for the eyestays while the neoprene material was from the 1988 Nike Air Flow. The Air Presto provided the cleatie construction for the shoe as the 1990 Air Current offered the inspiration for the wider shape of the silhouette. An added cushioning system, the Lunarlon cushioning, was also provided. It was presented first in the Nike LunarEpic.

The LunarCharge was officially released in 2016 in a combination of black, white, and gray colorway with some hints of speckled design. New other colorways were released after for both men and women, allowing the people to have more choices in grabbing a pair of the shoe. Along with these other colorways was the triple black which features an all-black motif for everything on the shoe including the tongue, the laces, and as well as both the midsole and the outsole.

The Nike LunarCharge Premium is a variation of the LunarCharge in which the silhouette was given a premium iteration and represented in a lifestyle design that is accommodating for both men and women. The model features a suede paneling with hints of neoprene and synthetic material on the upper. The shoe also showcases some perforated detailing on its upper and the whole design was complemented with a laser-siped Lunarlon outsole.

Another variation of the LunarCharge silhouette is the Nike LunarCharge Essential. Depending on the colorway, this shoe may have a neoprene or suede paneling and a breathable mesh toe box area. Neoprene material also covers some parts of the upper. The whole design is finished off with a Nike branding that spreads on the laser-siped Lunarlon outsole.

  • The addition of the mesh lining, padded collar, and tongue, as well as the Air Cooled Memory Foam insole,  improve the Relaxed Fit: Empire - Game On’s in-shoe feel.
  • Its appeal is enhanced with the help of the S logo on the lateral side, the sparkly metallic threads infused in the upper as well as the zig-zag stitching accents.
  • “Skechers” callout is displayed on the heel and tongue.
  • Variations with reflective detailing, faux-fur lining and heathered jersey upper are also available.
