My Rating

Along with most Air Force 1’s, this new rendition stays true to its generous nature of an extensive size range. Although a men’s shoe, the Nike Air Force 1 07 LV8 4 can be copped by all genders starting from 6 to 14 in a men’s medium width of D. The ladies should always go down 1.5 sizes from the gents to obtain the optimal fit.

Giving in with the glossy ambiance of prevalent cyberpunk themes, the Nike Air Force 1 07 LV8 4 dresses its upper with iridescent elements reminiscent of past women’s exclusive Nike models. Not only is this sneaker bound for the ladies but was also created with men in mind--providing an opportunity for sparkle-craved boys to fulfill their much-awaited dream of dressing up in glittery apparel.

Going for a bold look is not much of a complex activity for these kicks due to its shiny-shimmering heel tab as well as the overlay outline found along the sides. The females can most likely wear anything with these from skirts to folded pants, while the males can be intricate with skinny jeans or joggers.

The Nike Air Force 1 07 LV8 4 has a lot of interesting details which took huge inspiration from the Y2K generation. The almost-pixelated branding found on the heel portion of the insole perfectly contrasts the smooth iridescent lines of the leather upper as well as that around the coveted Swoosh.

The tongue and heel tabs were embellished with the rainbowy material breaking the monochromatic tint of the upper. The midsole with a sandwiched Air-Sole unit was also somewhat “beefed up” to give a more fashion-forward appeal.

If the Nike Air Force 1 was to be compared to an animal, it can be said for certain that the iconic sneaker would be a guinea pig. Numerous experimentations had overtaken the classic from faux leather uppers to ridiculous sherpa linings--a movement that cemented its rightful place on top of the sneaker food chain.

The original basketball footwear had come a long way from being clenched by the hands of its designer, Bruce Kilgore, to starring in one of its own songs courtesy of rap artist, Nelly. The fan-driven market for AF 1’s domesticated the sneaker into one of Nike’s top-selling silhouettes of all time.

In 2018, the Oregon brand teased a somewhat iridescent version of the cult-icon namely the Nike Air Force 1 07 LV8 4, a rather mouthful if mentioned by a clueless casual walker. The LV8 portion of the name indicates, at a certain level, that the sneaker is somehow higher than other models and the “4” on the tail makes it more relatively “new.”

  • The upper is composed of different components including leather, textile, and synthetic materials.
  • Lightweight cushioning is showcased by the encapsulated Air-Sole unit on the heel.
  • Breathability is enhanced by the perforations on the toe box.
  • The sneaker initially debuted on December 26, 2018, in select retailers.
  • It retails at $100 a pop.
  • A white version was released on January 10, 2019.
