  • Made for the daily runner and the shoe enthusiast, the Adidas Duramo 6 features a solid set of technologies and systems that work together to make the running experience as comfortable as possible. The breathable coverage is easy on the skin, the mid-sole is well-cushioned, and the outsole brings responsible surface traction.
  • The upper unit of the 6th version of the Duramo features a mesh material that is soft and breathable. It doesn’t feel stiff or unwieldy to the foot, so it allows natural movement to take place. Air easily enters the interior chamber because of the open construction of this material.
  • The midsole material makes use of a full-length foam material that’s been developed by Adidas. It provides cushioning for the entire foot pad, making sure that it stays comfortable and free from impact forces at all times. It propels the foot forward because of its springy nature. It doesn’t break down easily, too.
  • The outsole unit is comprised of a rubber material that is responsible for protecting the rest of the sole unit from the potentially damaging nature of the asphalt. Surface friction can cause breakage to the components, so this layer shields it from such consequences. It is also responsible for the traction the runner gets when taking each step.

The Adidas Duramo 6 has a regular running shoe length. It comes in sizes that are fair to the preferences of men and women. The available width is medium. It is able to accommodate the runner with a medium sized foot. Its semi-curved shape follows the natural curvature of the human foot, allowing the wearer to acclimate well to it.

ADIWEAR is an outsole technology that uses a high quality rubber material to protect the shoe from the abrasive nature of the roads. The same outsole material is used in the Duramo 9, and it ensures the longevity and efficacy of the mid-sole unit, protecting it from wear and tear. It is also responsible for traction, thus allowing the runner to be more in control of the surfaces.

Flex grooves are cut in the sole unit of this running shoe. They make sure to allow the platform to move along with the natural motions of the foot, preventing stiffness or rigidity from affecting the performance of the wearer.

The ADIPRENE+ is a full-length mid-sole material that is responsible for the cushioning the foot gets when running. It is able to absorb impact shock during the landing phase of the gait cycle. It can carry the weight of the wearer, not breaking down easily in the process.

The upper unit of this Adidas shoe makes use of Air Mesh, a breathable fabric that’s soft and flexible. It allows air to enter the shoe’s interior chamber in order to keep the foot cool and dry.

The inner sleeve is made of soft fabric, as well, thus preventing any discomfort or irritation from affecting the skin.

Additional snugness to the coverage is provided by the inclusion of overlays that are stitched onto the upper unit. Connected to the lacing system, these overlays wrap around the foot as tightly or as loosely, depending on the runner’s preferences.
