My Rating

Featuring its high-top construction, the Nike Vandalised offers protective support for your ankle. Its toggle lacing system allows you to easily tighten and loosen the laces with a quick pull and keep your foot locked down securely in a comfortable fit. This sneaker is available in women’s sizing and men may grab themselves a pair by adding at last 1.5 in size.

A bold new look, the Nike Vandalised offers you the freedom to take your street style to a whole new level. With the basketball roots on its design, it naturally blends its sporty appeal with fashion. With its uniquely stylish new look, this pair of kicks brings out your creativity and boldness in fashion.

You can take things a little edgy with its high-top structure yet stay feminine and chic with a pair of cute dress or high-waisted mini skirt. You may keep things sporty with a pair of joggers and a pullover hoodie.

Displaying a new twist on the classic 1984 Nike Vandal silhouette, the women’s Nike Vandalised sneaker features the “rearranged” elements on its design. Its asymmetrical new look delivers quite a bold and unique look for the silhouette while keeping its original Nike basketball appeal.

One year before the Nike Vandal was birthed, the Swoosh brand introduced its very own, and now very popular,  Air Sole Innovation and featured it on its highly sought-after silhouettes, Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. Another remarkable feature that the brand introduced in that same year and on that same silhouette was the heel strap closure system on the top of the shoe in which quickly became a staple in the urban culture.

The following year, in 1984, the Nike Vandal Supreme was launched, featuring the same innovative features from the AF1 shoe. It showcases the same heel strap and midsole unit but it delivers a more aesthetic appeal in comparison to its predecessor. Being born in the middle of the rise of the sneaker fandom, the Vandal most likely just stayed in the shadows of the Nike Air Force 1 High, the Nike Dunk High, and the Nike Legend.

But the main features of the Nike Vandal that appealed most to the people are its canvas and nylon upper that is more lightweight than the other’s components. Its original silver colorway is also another of its appealing features as it kind of portrays a futuristic appearance.

The Nike Vandal is not a stranger to iterations as well. Throughout the decades, it has witnessed a few renditions of its design. In 2019, the Nike brand introduced the women-exclusive Nike Vandalised which features a distinctive “deconstructive reinterpretation” of its main predecessor’s original design. It comes in multiple colorways such as the Black/Bright Crimson-Off Noir, the Summit White/Summit White-University Red, and the White/Chrome Yellow/Black/White.

  • The upper of the Nike Vandalised is made with suede and leather materials.
  • You can observe its Split Swoosh branding on its sides.
  • It displays a full-rubber outsole for durable traction.
