Facts

A mid-top construction that offers efficient ankle support, the Nike Toki keeps your foot in protective comfort. It showcases the traditional lace-up closure system which gives you the opportunity of tying down your foot in a secure yet adjustable fit.

Clean, classic, and simply stylish, the Nike Toki delivers versatility in its design and style, giving the wearers the freedom of being fashionably creative with their outfits. A wide variety of outfit ideas can be worn and goes well with this pair of mid-top sneaker.

You can stay casual and relaxed in a t-shirt and jeans while running some errands around town. Keep it fun and free with a sporty look in a pair of joggers and hoodie. Women may keep it feminine and chic with some high-waisted skirt or shorts and a cropped top.

Joining the long list of Nike lifestyle sneakers and taking inspirations for its design from some of Nike’s notable silhouettes, the Nike Toki displays a mid-top construction with the Nike Sabaku remarkable upper and the Nike Blazer’s outsole. It delivers a clean finish that keeps things simple yet stylish.

In 2009, Nike Sportswear introduced a silhouette that demonstrates another “hybrid effort” from the Swoosh brand. The silhouette, known as the Nike Zoom Toki Lux, took inspiration from other Nike shoes, the Nike Zoom Sabaku and the Nike Blazer models.

The Nike Zoom Toki Lux kept distinct attributes of the Lux models such as the premium materials of the plain and wearable color palette. It came in three colorways which were Black, Blur, and Medium Brown. Its upper is made of leather with perforated detailing.

A few months after the release of the Toki Lux, Nike launched a rendition of the shoe which was called the Nike Air Toki TZ. It presents a canvas finish and came in two Spring-friendly colorways which were pastel yellow with green accents and the tonal light gray.

Another rendition of the Air Zoom Toki mid-top silhouette is the Nike Toki Quickstrike which was first released in a black colorway followed by the Rustic/Sail colorway. In December 2009, Nike Sportswear announced the cleanly juxtaposed suede-built upper version of the Nike Toki which comes in a tonal navy blue colorway.

When 2010 came, the Swoosh brand dropped the Nike Air Zoom Toki ND which displays a minimalistic combination of black upper, white sole, and lime green accents. It was then followed by the release of the 2010 Spring/Summer Collection for the Nike Toki which the silhouette sported a canvas upper and comes in three colorways.

  • The Nike Toki sneaker is also called as the “Nike Air Zoom Toki.”
  • It comes with flat laces.
  • Big Swoosh logo presented on the side of the sneaker.
  • Nike and Swoosh branding on its tongue and heel.
  • The Nike Toki is sometimes compared to Vans Chukka because of its clean and classic design.
