The Nike Sock Dart QS comes in both men and women’s sizes. The men can choose from sizes 6 to 15 while the ladies can choose from sizes 4 – 13.  It comes in a low-cut, slip-on style with an adjustable strap to keep your feet snug and in place. The breathable textile upper is said to mimic the fit and comfort of a sock.

The Nike Sock Dart QS’ bold design could elevate a rather boring casual outfit by adding a pop of color to your look. It works well paired with shorts or jeans and a casual top.

The Nike Sock Dart QS’ upper is crafted from mesh textile that comes in bold colors with the brand’s elephant skin printed all-over. It has a laceless silhouette with an adjustable translucent midfoot strap to keep the feet secure. Nike’s logo can be seen on the tongue, sides, and heel. The shoe also features a toecap for added stability and protection.

The midsole features Phylon foam for extra cushioning and, lastly, the outsole is made of rubber for durability and grip.

The Nike Sock Dart was introduced in 2004, just shortly after sneaker fans saw the unveiling of the Nike Presto. It is one of the first Nike designs to have a knit attribute for its uppers. The Nike Sock Dart range started when Hiroshi Fujiwara, an acclaimed designer, spotted a sample pair made by Tinker Hatfield and further developed it. Fujiwara commissioned the first release to be under the HTM label in 2004. With the shoe’s comfort and minimalist design it was seen as a bit too unfamiliar to the market during that time. As a result, the shoe unexpectedly faded out of the sneaker game.

Fast-forward to 2014, Nike decided to have a retro release as a limited edition in partnership with NikeLab. The masses finally caught up and bought the shoe’s futuristic appeal.

In April 2017, Nike re-introduced the shoe clothed in the brand’s signature elephant skin print, which was first used on the Air Safari shoe in 1987. It was called the Nike Sock Dart QS that came in 4 colorways.

  • The Nike Sock Dart QS was a Quickstrike release.
  • The shoe was also available in a pack called Safari, wherein you can get three colorways as a set.
  • It is offered in Medium width.
