Profile of the Adidas D Rose 10

Despite some setbacks, Adidas and Derrick Rose are not yet done. With the launch of the D Rose 10, Derrick becomes the eighth player in history to release ten signature sneakers with the same brand.

The Adidas D Rose 10 closes out a chapter and marks the next phase of Derrick Rose’s hoop story. These Adidas basketball sneakers feature design cues from earlier silhouettes as a callback to his days as the league’s best player.

To complement Derrick’s changing game, Adidas equipped the D Rose 10 with a full-length Bounce midsole. The flexible Bounce midsole offers speed and agility as he drives to the basket. An engineered leather upper and TPU heel counter keeps him secure as he moves past the defense.

Performance

Cushion. Derrick Rose’s tenth basketball sneaker with Adidas features a full-length Bounce midsole. The flexible Bounce cushioning is designed to deliver increased comfort and responsiveness.

Traction. The D Rose 10 is equipped with a durable rubber outsole that provides aggressive traction on the hardwood. The zonal herringbone outsole allows you to pivot and stop on a dime.

Closure. These Derrick Rose basketball shoes have a traditional tongue and lace-up closure that offers a snug and secure fit. A TPU heel counter and padded mid-top collar provide enhanced support and stability.

Material

Derrick Rose’s tenth basketball sneaker goes back to a more traditional build. These basketball shoes boast an engineered leather upper for increased d durability. The leather material is also designed to deliver a snug and supportive fit.

Style

Inspired by Derrick’s signature moves, the D Rose 10 from Adidas features a mid-top silhouette that is designed for speed and agility. A neoprene collar, leather upper, and welded synthetics keep his foot secure as he crosses and drives to the hoop.

Signature details include the numbers “88_08-09” and “10-11 MVP” to signify the year he was born, the year he was drafted, and the year was voted as the league’s most valuable player. Other details include a Three Stripes branding on the heel and outsole.

Adidas D Rose 10 ‘Boardwalk’

The tropical tones of the Adidas D Rose 10 ‘Boardwalk’ is inspired by the time Derrick was rehabbing his ailing knee in the Southern Californian beachside during the Summer of 2013. These basketball sneakers feature a combination of aqua green and pink throughout its leather upper.

Adidas D Rose 10 ‘China’

Derrick Rose’s popularity in China continues to grow. As a result, Adidas crafted a China-inspired colorway to pay tribute to his fame and massive fan base in that country. The Adidas D Rose 10 ‘China’ features a white upper with gold and bright red accents. A tribute to China is found on the insole.

Adidas D Rose 10 ‘Simeon’

Derrick’s Chicago High School inspires the ‘Simeon’ colorway of the Adidas D Rose 10. These white basketball shoes feature the number 25 on the insole as a nod to Derrick’s high school number. Contrasting yellow and blue accents complete the theme.
