Personally, they lean on the firmer side even though the gel technology enhances the cushioning feel in hand the ETPU just overflows the cushioning with more stability and endurance with the sturdy compound.
Now the HyperGel Kenzen is actually a lifestyle model that has performance features. If you absolutely needed to run in these things I'm sure you're gonna be good to go however they are meant for lifestyle.
