    Personally, they lean on the firmer side even though the gel technology enhances the cushioning feel in hand the ETPU just overflows the cushioning with more stability and endurance with the sturdy compound.

    Now the HyperGel Kenzen is actually a lifestyle model that has performance features. If you absolutely needed to run in these things I'm sure you're gonna be good to go however they are meant for lifestyle.

The Asics HyperGel Kenzen runs true to size with a medium fit from the heel to the forefoot. With the use of the knit upper material, it wraps the foot comfortably without compromising the performance of the footwear. Asics HyperGel Kenzen offers this shoe in standard medium D width for men's and medium B for women's.

The Asics HyperGel Kenzen utilizes the high abrasion rubber outsole. This material aims to provide additional traction and durability to the shoe, especially on the roads. It has excellent grip qualities that work well on a different range of surfaces. It helps the runner to keep going mile after mile.

The Solyte midsole is integrated into the shoe. The purpose of which is to provide a durable yet high level of cushioning to the underfoot. This material is focused on withstanding short and long-distance running activities without affecting the performance of the runner.

Along with the Solyte midsole, the one-piece HyperGEL cushioning is utilized in the shoe. Asics added this feature to improve shock absorption. Dissipating the amount of energy that enters the runner's body is the primary purpose of shock absorption. As a result, a more comfortable and hassle-free ride is experienced by the runner.

Integrated into the Asics HyperGel Kenzen is the seamless circular knit upper which delivers sleekness and comfort to the foot. This feature of the shoe adapts to the movements of the foot during the running sessions. The Nike Downshifter 7 is a comparable shoe to the Asics HyperGel Kenzen, as both offer the same functionality.

The mono-sock technology fit system is an added feature of the shoe. It is described as an elastic internal sleeve that aims to replace the traditional tongue unit. This technology is essential in providing a sock-like fit.
