The Adidas POD-S3.2 ML has a regular fit and runs true to size. The sneaker is available in US men’s and women’s sizes. The sock-like upper gives it a snug fit and is kept tight by a lace-up vamp closure.
A new addition to the POD series, the Adidas POD-S3.2 ML dons the same two-piece outsole bridged together by the POD Bridge technology that keeps it flexible and stable. The ultra-comfortable streetwear sneakers embody comfort and style with each detail. The upper is mesh with suede overlays and embroidered details that give it texture. Contrasting laces, heel pulls, and side panels add accent. It mixes just the right amount of quality, style, comfort, and performance. It is available in multiple colorways including a camouflage pack that gives wearers many options to mix and match with their wardrobe.
A sequel to the futuristic POD-S3.1 of the Adidas POD series, the POD-S3.2 ML is the new iteration to the line. “Don’t run, float” is the idea behind this POD “Point of Deflection” technology that boasts its stabilizing Torsion System that gives smooth heel-to-toe transitions.
The new POD-S3.2 ML includes the same design principle of a two-piece sole bridged together by the POD Bridge technology. Dug from the Adidas archive, the forefoot portion of the midsole has been reverted back to the original segmented version from the EQT Cushion 2 of 1995. Boost technology cushioning on the heel for an endlessly energized and comfortable feel. It also features an EVA midfoot support and a rubber outsole with flex grooves.
It’s upper has been intricately redesigned to bring a much larger presence. It features a mesh upper with silicone prints, reinforced by suede overlays at the toe box and lace collar, and embroidered embellishments that give the new model subtle dimension. It has a lace closure, heel pulls, and side panels that add accents to the shoe. Adidas branding on the tongue and the lateral side of the outsole finish its look.
The POD or “Point of Deflection” System line takes its origins from the 90s Adidas innovation of the same name. With the same concept, the sole is split into three parts each with a distinct feature. The original versions back in the 90s strictly used EVA throughout the sole. The POD-S3.2 in 2018 added the Boost technology to the heel for a whole new level of flexibility and comfort.
Now, the Adidas POD-S3.2 ML uses the same POD Bridge technology, the Boost technology, and the forefoot portion of the midsole has been reverted back to the original segmented version of the 1995 EQT Cushion 2. The most obvious modification is the upper that’s definitely eye-catching with its brand new look and intricate detailing.
