Adidas Consortium Ultra Boost Lux History

Launched in 2015, the Adidas Ultra Boost was hailed as the "Greatest Running Shoe Ever" and has been one of the top choices not only by runners but also by icons and Sneakerheads. This iteration was the first ever to use the ARAMIS system to measure the vibration, design, and ergonomics by using cameras and sensors to visualize the movement of runners while wearing the sneaker. ARAMIS system is also utilized by NASA, Boeing, and Audi and was used during the development of other Adidas models such as the PureBoost X and Alpha Bounce.

Meanwhile, the Adidas Consortium collection was unveiled in 2005. It is composed of top-selling silhouettes of Adidas revamped with unique materials and style designed by favorite brands, stores, and some big names in the sneaker world, such as UNDFTD, Sneaker Freaker, Colette, and Sneakersnstuff. Mostly, the iteration included in this line is a remixed Adidas silhouette like Ultra Boost, EQT, and Iniki in limited edition and considered unique products.

One iteration included in this collection is the Ultra Boost Lux which is a result of collaboration with the Swedish retailer Sneakersnstuff and American brand Social Status.  This model is part of the Bonus Track of the Ultra Boost and the collaboration played around with the materials and colors in the designing process. The team aimed at transforming the high-performance kick into a luxury item.
