The Adidas 3ST.002 PK is exclusively offered in men's sizes that range from 7 to 12. Ladies who fancy a pair should go one size down from their standard shoe size. Its Primeknit upper is reported to fit bigger than expected but going a size down should provide a supportive, sock-like fit.

The Adidas 3ST.002 Primeknit is a second-generation release from the 3ST line. 3ST is Adidas Skateboarding's newest line, and their first release included two shoe models: the 3ST.001 and 3ST.002. The line was introduced in 2018 wherein they used an "open source workshop design approach" to create these futuristic skate shoes. In this approach professionals from both the design and skate teams sit down, have open discussions, and get involved in creating these Adidas shoe models from scratch.

The brand's Senior Footwear Designer, Scott Johnston shared that through the open discussions true collaboration ensued between artists from their respected fields. He also said that their vision for the 3ST line is to create the future of skate shoes, and the 3ST.001 and 3ST.002 were the by-products of their efforts.

The Adidas 3ST.002, specifically, exhibits a very futuristic yet timeless design. It is crafted from suede with mesh underlays. And with today's obsession with sock-like upper, Adidas released a Primeknit version of the 3ST.002 just weeks after the original was introduced. This iteration is called the Adidas 3ST.002 Primeknit and now features a lighter and more breathable fit. It is offered in two tonal colorway options.
