The Adidas 3ST.002 is available solely in men's sizes that range from 7 to 12. Ladies who want to cop a pair should go one size down from their standard shoe size. The kick's suede upper is constructed to fit true to size for the most part, but users who are wide-footed might have to try going half a size up.

Bold yet simple is what describes the Adidas 3ST.002’s aesthetic. The shoe’s ditching of shoelaces allowed for a one-piece, minimal upper with a futuristic structure. Its never before seen design might have received mixed reactions, but several liked it for its uniqueness and functionality. The kick will look its best when paired with cropped trousers or cuffed jeans to not interfere with the shoe’s minimal design and showcase it at the same time.

This sport-born and culture-inspired shoe's futuristic and minimal design is what makes it stand out. Its mid-top profile is crafted from a suede upper and lined with an inner knit sock providing a stylish contrast in textures, which enhances the overall design. Moreover, perforations are visible throughout the upper for added breathability and texture.

A print on the upper serves as branding and reads "The brand with the 3 stripes" in two languages. TPU cage supports are placed on both sides of the shoe that adds style and provides stability and support to the wearers. Lastly, all these sit atop a translucent gum sole.

The Adidas 3ST.002 is one of two shoes that were released under Adidas Skateboarding's newest line called the "3ST." Launched in 2018 by Adidas, these additions were created via the label's new "open source workshop design approach" where professionals from both the design and skate team have open discussions and get involved in creating the shoe from scratch.

Scott Johnston, the brand's Senior Footwear Designer, shared that having the open discussions allowed a true collaboration between artists in their respected fields. He also added that they aimed to create the future of skate shoes, and the 3ST.001 and 3ST.002 were the tangible results.

The Adidas 3ST.002, in particular, looked very futuristic and timeless at the same time. Its one-piece suede upper with a mesh sock liner was unprecedented sparking divided reactions from consumers. Made by riders for riders, the shoe is a technical skate kick that works great as an everyday sneaker as well.
