Use - The Zoom Rival S 8 is a multiskilled track shoe from Nike that can generate robust performance in track events that such as running and jumping. For running matches, it can accommodate distances that range from 60 meters to 400 meters. It is also perfect for hurdles and long jump competitions.
Spike Type - The running spike is designated with 7 pyramid spikes. These are ¼ inch in length and deliver superior traction, especially on rubber tracks. It digs into the track surface, providing a stable and propulsive running performance.
Spike Plate - The sprint spike is equipped with a 7-pin Pebax® plate. It adheres to the shoe’s featherlight fashion while delivering maximum grip and durability. It is tasked with housing the removable pyramid spikes of the track shoe for versatile traction.
The Zoom Rival S series from Nike has always kept a reputable image in the market. That is why the brand made sure to implement many refinements in the platform’s design. This is to heighten the athlete’s performance when wearing the Nike Zoom Rival S 8.
One of the fine-tuning made to the running spike is the extension of its spike plate under the arch of the foot. This is meant for midfoot response and support.
With this 8th iteration, an EVA sockliner has been added to the midsole for comfort and support.

The most important function of the EVA sockliner is its delivery of shock attenuation and cushioning. Given this, it permits protection from injury while supplying interior comfort.
The upper of the Nike Zoom Rival S 8 is a combination of spacer mesh and Nanoply composite. Both of these materials deliver support and breathability.
The spacer mesh supplements ventilation within the platform with its perforations. It is also very lightweight, which complements the featherlight style of the shoe. The Nanoply material covers the spacer mesh for a seamless interior.
