Size and fit

The shoe is available in standard sizing scheme for both men and women.

For snug fit and comfort, a mesh upper is utilized by the Minimus Trail 10. A lace-up fastening system allows an adjustable fit, while the synthetic overlays that are added to the shoe are responsible for the shoe’s security and added structural support.

Outsole

Vibram® outsole is a technology that employs rubber outsole that features durable properties that help protect the shoe from different elements.

The Minimus Trail 10 features flex grooves that allow the shoe to deliver maximum traction and durability over rugged surfaces. This is also present in the New Balance 1500 v5.

Midsole

An Acteva™ foam is a highly engineered foam that is 12% more lightweight as opposed to other midsole foams. It works closely with the DuPont™ Engage® technology for enhanced durability.

A thin textile footbed is also furnished to the shoe for added support while keeping the shoe lightweight.

Upper

The upper of the New Balance Minimus Trail 10 employs a mesh material that contributes to the lightweight construction of the shoe. It permits ventilation inside the shoe which leaves the foot feeling fresh and eliminates foot fatigue. This material is also highly flexible which promotes free movement of the foot.

Added to the upper are synthetic overlays that provide structural support to this minimalist running shoe. This also eliminates the risk of chafing and irritation.

To promote great in-shoe experience, a comfortable and soft fabric lining is supplied to the Minimus Trail 10. A cushioned collar is also put in as one of the shoe components to enhance comfort, while a thin tongue is integrated to impart to the lightweight feel of the shoe.

An odor-resistant lining is applied to the shoe to eliminate odor-causing bacteria.

A lace-up closure system is integrated into the shoe for a customizable and secure fit. This also helps prevent heel slippage.

To assist the entry of the foot to the New Balance Minimus Trail 10, a heel pull loop is added at the shoe’s rear.
