Fit & Sizing

The New Balance 331 is a unisex model made in men’s sizes from 4 to 13, with half sizes up to 11.5, in D Standard width. Women’s sizing is approximately equivalent to 1.5 sizes smaller of that in men’s. The 331 is a performance skate shoe that has a narrow fit. The brand recommends ordering a ½ size bigger than usual in regular New Balance sneakers for a more comfortable fit.

The low profile of these New Balance skate shoes allows versatile and non-restrictive movement of the foot, while the lace-up closure with five pairs of metal eyelets secure the foot. Its tonal laces can be adjusted for a customized fit. The upper is infused with sufficient reinforcements on the sidewalls and heel for support and stability.

New Balance 331 Style

These affordable New Balance kicks give you a clean silhouette that can be styled in countless ways. Its overall form, combined with lots of color options, makes the perfect formula for easy wearing from sunup to sundown, and anything in between.

The New Balance 331 could up your styling game in an instant. For a casual and laid-back look, wear it with a good pair of jeans (or shorts) and a simple shirt combo, or dress it up a little bit with a pair of chinos.

New Balance 331 History

Although New Balance gained popularity for its top-of-the-line performance running shoes, it also produces other kinds of footwear for men, women, and kids. Alongside Adidas, Nike, Puma, Reebok, Asics, and other footwear brands, New Balance remains to secure a spot in the sneaker industry by continuously creating quality-made and stylish sneakers.

In 2013, New Balance introduced the New Balance Numeric or NB# as its sub-brand that caters to the skateboarding community. Through this line, the brand produces performance skate shoes that adhere to the kind of quality and craftsmanship that New Balance running shoes have been known for. Also, under the NB# umbrella is a team of professional skateboarders with the likes of Arto Saari, PJ Ladd, Levi Brown, Jordan Taylor, Tyler Surrey, and more.

One of the current shoes under the New Balance Numeric line is the New Balance 331. It is a lightweight and flexible skate shoe with a low profile and secured lace-up closure. Several colorways have been made available throughout a number of releases, which include Black with White, Salmon with White, Burgundy with White, Navy with White, and White among others.
