  • Stability and support are given by the Asics Gel Exalt 2. This Asics running shoe has add-ons that balance the gait of the wearer and give them stability throughout the entirety of their running sessions. High-quality materials make sure to let this shoe stay functional and efficient even after many uses. Visually, it’s a good-looking running companion, with a reflective coating reflecting light from its façade.
  • The upper unit of this running shoe makes use of a fabric that employs an open construction. Basically, it allows air to easily enter the shoe in order to keep the foot cool and dry. It is also smooth, so it won’t feel restrictive or irritating to the foot. Synthetic overlays help when it comes to hugging the foot in a comfortable, but customizable fit.
  • High-quality foam technologies are at play in the Asics Gel Exalt 2. A full-length foam carries the foot well and keeps it cushioned at all times. It is responsive and springy, so it is capable of propelling the runner with ease whenever they’re preparing to lift their feet up again. Stability mechanics are placed in this shoe in order to correct the over-pronated foot motions of those who need additional support.
  • Durable rubber that’s highly resistant to abrasion is placed across the surface of the sole unit. It works as a shield that prevents the debilitating effects of friction and continued use from affecting the structure and integrity of the mid-sole.

The Asics Gel Exalt 2 has a regular running shoe length. It is available in sizes that are adherent to the standard measurements for men and women. Its semi-curved shape allows the foot to acclimate well to it when wearing it. It has a medium width, which means that it is able to accommodate those with medium sized feet.

The outsole unit of the Asics Gel Exalt 2 and its latest version, the Gel Exalt 4 makes use of the AHAR® or the Asics High Abrasion Resistant Rubber, which is one of the most reliable technologies on the market. It is able to protect the rest of the sole unit from the debilitating effects of wear and tear. It also gives reliable traction, which is needed when tackling the asphalt.

SpEVA® which can also be found in the popular Asics Gel Kayano 25, is a high-quality material that encourages energy return to the runner. A more efficient forefoot lift is afforded because of its springy nature. This full-length unit cushions the runner well, making sure to keep them comfortable throughout the running sessions.

The DuoMax® dual-density foam is a material placed in the mid-foot section of the platform. It gives the runner stability and support, thus ensuring a balanced running gait.

The Gel® Cushioning System is a silicon-based gel that’s placed in the heel section of the platform. Its job is to absorb the landing shock during the foot strike, making sure to keep the runner safe from discomfort during the run.

The mesh material used in the upper unit has an open construction, which means that it is able to cover the foot and keep it cool, dry and comfortable. It is smooth and flexible, so it won’t feel tight or restrictive.

Synthetic overlays are stitched onto the upper unit. They provide structure to this section, while also making sure to keep the foot hugged snugly.

The reflective coating makes the Asics Gel Exalt 2 more visible under low lighting conditions. It is helpful during nighttime runs, where it’s difficult for cars to see people running on the road.
