6 reasons to buy

  • The Adidas Pure Boost Clima’s individual components felt durable and robustly made, a good number of consumers stated.
  • It felt true-to-size for most purchasers.
  • The underfoot cushioning system was able to effectively cushion the landing impact on the surface, noted several runners.
  • The design of this shoe received praise for being modern and stylish.
  • Based on general user feedback, the breathable nature of the upper unit kept the foot cool and dry.
  • Its weight is suitably light for all-day use, according to some of those who have tested it.

4 reasons not to buy

  • Some runners reported a sense of discomfort when wearing this shoe with thick socks; they recommended wearing thin socks for a more relaxed coverage.
  • According to a tester, there’s a lump of glue in the toe-box where the upper meets the mid-sole; it apparently rubbed uncomfortably against the big toe.
  • A few testers claimed that the foot-bed was a bit hard and rough underneath.
  • There was a general complaint about this shoe not having free insoles.

Bottom line

The Adidas Pure Boost Clima was able to impress a lot of runners because of its design, its apparently efficient components, and its general durability. But there a number of testers who had some gripes with how it was made, with some of them commenting that such discrepancies caused discomfort.

  • The Adidas Pure Boost Clima is a neutral running shoe that’s created for the roads. It has a sporty yet contemporary design that’s geared towards the casual shoe enthusiast, but it doesn’t skimp on its purpose as a shoe for running. The upper unit has a simple and consistent look. It utilizes a special fabric that staves off moisture while easily accommodating the natural flow of air.
  • The Boost technology is employed in this Adidas running shoe. This full-length foam offers responsive underfoot cushioning and a springy ride. Durable rubber protects the mid-sole from wear and tear. It also maintains the runner’s control over the surfaces.

The Adidas Pure Boost Clima has a standard running shoe length. It naturally accommodates the runner’s preference in terms of size. However, it doesn’t have a women’s specific construction. The design of this model is geared towards male runners. The available width is medium, so it is able to welcome those who have medium foot-dimensions.

Just like the Adidas Pure Boost, the outsole unit of the Adidas Pure Boost Clima makes use of the Stretchweb rubber. Its construction is similar to a spider-web, with a grid-like façade that’s made up of traction pods and rubber connectors. Its job is to shield the foam from the abrasive nature of the asphalt.

Traction is also given by the rubber compound. It grips the pavement and allows the runner to control the movements during the run. It’s not stiff or obtrusive, so the foot is able to get more freedom of movement.

The rubber compound extends to the medial mid-foot section of the mid-sole. It basically steadies the foot during movement and keeps it engaged throughout the activity. It’s additional protection, as well.

The underfoot platform of the Adidas Pure Boost Clima is made up of the Boost foam unit. This full-length cushioning system is crafted from the amalgamation on thousands of tiny pellets. The unit is responsive and springy.

Knit is the main fabric used by the Adidas Pure Boost Clima. It has the quality of woven cloth, but it’s constructed in a secure manner. Its aim is to maintain breathability while also maintaining the structure and the lightweight design of the upper.

The climacool™ system is made up of fabrics that easily absorb and stave off moisture. It keeps the foot dry. It also enables air to easily enter the foot-chamber, thus maintaining a cool interior environment.

There isn’t a traditional tongue unit in this shoe. What it has is a double-folded part of the main upper fabric that evokes the look and function of a shoe-tongue. It can be loosened to accommodate a more compliant fit, and it can be secured well using the lacing system.

Circular laces interweave along the unique tongue construction. They make the fit more adherent to the natural preference of the wearer.
