Good to know

Nike basketball aims to radically redefine how players get into their shoes with the Nike Air Zoom UNVRS FlyEase. Inspired by Ellena Delle Donne's sister Lizzie, the Nike Air Zoom UNVRS features a new FlyEase system that works for athletes of all abilities. This technology is an example of how Nike is creating solutions that benefit everyone.

"I wanted to show that a professional athlete can wear it," Delle Donne says. "Male, female, adult, people with disabilities — this shoe is going to work."

These Nike basketball sneakers make use of magnetized heel that folds and connects to the midsole. This function allows the shoe to open up for quick and easy wear. An articulated strap engages Flywire cables for a secure and customized fit.

The Air Zoom UNVRS is also equipped with a full-length Nike Air Zoom cushion and Flyknit upper for comfort and durability.

Cushion. The Nike Air Zoom UNVRS FlyEase features a full-length, articulated Air Zoom unit that delivers optimal cushioning underfoot. The full-length Air Zoom cushion is stitched directly onto the upper for quick responsiveness regardless of your size.

Traction. For increased grip on the hardwood, these Nike basketball sneakers utilize a durable rubber outsole with a circular node pattern.

Closure. The Nike Air Zoom UNVRS boasts a new FlyEase design so that wearers can easily slide the foot in and out without using their hands. A magnetized heel piece folds down and connects to the midsole, opening up the back of the shoe.

For added security, these high-top basketball shoes employ an articulated strap that engages Flywire cables integrated along the upper. The strap and cable system allows users to close the shoe with the use of just one hand. The articulated strap also wraps around the entire heel for a custom fit that locks you in.

The Nike Zoom UNVRS FlyEase features a re-engineered Flyknit construction for increased durability. The Flyknit upper is also very lightweight, breathable, and supportive.

This Nike FlyEase footwear was crafted with a clear design philosophy—to create smarter and better-designed footwear for athletes of all abilities.

"Expand human potential across the UNVRSE. All genders, all abilities, all origins, everyone" is printed on the straps and inside the shoe.
