Good to know

Acting as the layer of protection of the Asics Jolt is the Asics high-abrasion rubber (AHAR). This technology is also found in the Asics Gel Quantum 180 4, providing resistance from wear and tear while enhancing traction for increased stability.

Meanwhile, Asics' famous Gel technology is also incorporated into the rearfoot of the platform. It prevents strain on the foot, mitigating shock upon impact.

To accommodate orthotics for a custom fit, the neutral running shoe features a removable sockliner. This permits better support and comfort for runners who need it the most.

The sizing of the Asics Jolt is patterned after the standard sizing schemes for both men and women. Thus, athletes can order the running shoe following their usual size choices.

To better the fit of Jolt from Asics, there are a few technical components assigned to the platform to hold the foot securely in place. One of these is the mesh material that wraps around the foot, optimizing a breathable fit. Meanwhile, a synthetic laminate cage comprised of overlays is engineered into the running shoe, eliminating excess motions for an irritation-free wrap.

As mentioned, the outsole of the Asics Jolt is constructed using AHAR technology. It is an exclusive outsole innovation to Asics that's composed of a rubber compound that's often used in vehicle tires. Thus, extreme strength is to be expected from the shoe's outsole. It also features a siped design that's intended to grip on the surface for surefootedness and speed. Despite the rigid quality of the outsole material, it still does not sacrifice underfoot comfort. To top it all off, AHAR effectively attenuates shock during impact for maximum foot protection.

Covering the entire length of the foot is the neutral shoe's EVA midsole foam that cushions the underfoot for a plush feel. What makes the midsole component even more ideal is its employment of minimal bulk and its ability to amplify the energy return. The combination of these two properties propels the runner forward for unmatched propulsion.

Present in the rearfoot of the Asics Jolt is the Gel cushioning. It eliminates heel slippage and maintains smooth transitions throughout the duration of the whole run.

Embedded on top of the midsole components is the changeable insole of the road running shoe. Aside from augmenting support, it also betters the fit of the shoe for a stabilized running execution.

Similar to most running platforms, the Jolt from Asics is crafted with a mesh upper. The perforations incorporated into the material serve as the airflow units of the shoe. These encourage a healthy foot environment that's free of sweat and odor. Because of the pliable property of the upper, it locks the foot in place while adapting to its motions, heightening both security and comfort.

To complement the upper textile, a synthetic cage is added. It is made up of overlays that are fused together to boost the structural integrity of the running shoe and further the support.
