Notable Features

The Asics FujiTrabuco Lyte is the newest addition to the FujiTrabuco family. It is the neutral version of the 8th edition of the Asics Gel Fujitrabuco that is categorized as mild stability running shoe, which is suitable for runners who tend to slightly overpronate.

This neutral running shoe is built with a lighter structure and lower heel-to-toe drop compared to the Gel Fujitrabuco 8. It incorporates the new FlyteFoam® technology that keeps the shoe lightweight without compromising comfort.

A flexible and trail-ready outsole is utilized to provide protection and enhance speed through challenging terrain. The grippy outsole is designed to deliver full contact with the ground to keep the runner stable on various surfaces.

Size and fit

The Asics FujiTrabuco Lyte is available in standard shoe length for both men and women versions. Runners can get a pair in their usual sizing preferences. However, it is recommended to try the shoe in-store or utilize the general feedback of consumers about sizing to ensure a perfect in-shoe feel.

The technical components that affect the fit of the shoe include the traditional lace-up closure. It offers an adjustable fit that meets personal preference. This Asics trail running shoe also features a padded tongue and soft sockliner. These components help provide a more comfortable and supportive fit.

Outsole

Asics Grip™ technology is integrated into the outsole of the FujiTrabuco Lyte. It is Asics’ proprietary outsole technology that offers superior traction on rocky and loose surfaces. It delivers full ground contact that keeps the runner stable even on the most challenging terrain.

Reversed lugs are also infused in the outsole. These elements deliver a firm uphill and downhill grip on all types of terrain. The flexible forefoot also helps the platform to easily adapt to uneven surfaces.

Midsole

A bouncy and responsive midsole material called FlyteFoam® technology is used in this Asics running shoe. This midsole foam utilizes organic super fibers that help minimize packing out, which traditionally happens with softer, low-density midsole foams. It delivers lasting comfort no matter the distance. The FlyteFoam® material is also featured in the Asics Gel Cumulus 21.

An ethel vinyl acetate or EVA sockliner is positioned above the FlyteFoam® midsole. This material molds to the natural shape of the foot to provide an extra layer of underfoot protection and cushioning.

Upper

A soft, breathable mesh top is featured in this lightweight running shoe. It allows for continuous ventilation and delivers support exactly where it is needed. Synthetic overlays are also included in the midfoot for durability and structural integrity.

To ensure that the runner is safe during low light hours, reflective elements are utilized. A heel tab is also added to allow for easy on and off.

The traditional lacing system is used for a secure and customized fit. It permits the wearer to easily adjust the tightness around the shoe. The designers also added the Lace Garage™ technology, which allows the shoelaces to be tucked in.

The padded tongue with stone protection is also incorporated to protect the top of the foot from lace bite. While the padded collar gives added comfort around the heel.
