Stability and motion control add-ons are uncommon for workout shoes and are never present in CrossFit or weightlifting footwear. They are mostly found in walking shoes where the gait is easier to correct.

- The Reebok Yourflex Trainette 10 MT is designed as a versatile workout shoe for women. It is made with the same technologies as the men’s version but has been crafted to meet the specific needs of women’s feet. It also has a male counterpart called the Reebok Yourflex Train 10 MT.
- The trainer employs most of the technologies found in its predecessor, like the injection molded ethylene-vinyl acetate (IMEVA) sole unit that reduces impact from each foot strike. Carbon rubber still reinforces the high-wear areas of the outsole.
- As for the upper, though it uses the same materials, microweb mesh, and neoprene, the construction has been updated. The webbed eyelets that fortify the quarters have been replaced with a panel-like structure sandwiched between the mesh window and the microweb mesh at the midfoot area.
Reebok Yourflex Trainette 10 MT size and fit
The Reebok Yourflex Trainette 10 MT is created to meet the unique needs of women’s feet. It is available in US sizes 5.5 to 11 and only comes in a B - Medium width profile. The inside is lightly padded providing a snug and comfortable fit that won’t hinder movements.
The foam midsole doubles as the outsole of the Reebok Yourflex Trainette 10 MT. This material is made to be hard-wearing to endure working out on various types of indoor and outdoor surfaces. The lugged tread pattern supports multidirectional movements and enhances the flexibility of the platform.
The high-wear areas of the underside, such as the ball and the heel, are strengthened with a layer of carbon rubber. This compound adds protection against abrasion and also enhances traction of the outsole without adding weight to the shoe.
The IMEVA midsole provides lightweight and responsive cushioning in this Reebok trainer. It attenuates shock to keep the foot and the rest of the lower extremities comfortable. It also rebounds quickly during midstance so that it is ready for the next impact.
Inside is the Memory Tech sockliner. This full-length insole contours to the shape of the underfoot to provide maximum coverage and comfort.
The upper of the Reebok Yourflex Trainette 10 MT is made of a combination of microweb mesh, neoprene, and synthetic materials. The microweb mesh is found on the vamp and the quarters which keeps the inside well-ventilated. Areas that are frequently subjected to friction, like the toe box, the quarters, and the eyestay are reinforced with synthetic overlays. Neoprene covers the foam-molded rear section. This type of fabric provides a snug fit that contributes to keeping the heel locked in place.
The synthetic overlays create panels on both sides of the midfoot that integrate with the lacing system. When the laces are cinched, the panels are drawn closer to the foot amplifying the lateral support. In between the mesh window of the panels and the microweb mesh is another structure that connects with the laces and heightens support during side-to-side movements.
The lightly padded tongue keeps the instep protected from irritation. As for the plush collar, it holds the rearfoot securely in place and supported.
