Who should buy the Reebok Trainfusion Nine 3.0
Designed for low-impact training and everyday wear, the Reebok has integrated materials and designs into the Trainfusion Nine 3.0 to produce a lightweight and flexible athletic shoe. It is a solid choice if:
- You prefer a shoe that could well with almost any outfit whether sports or casual.
- Your everyday activities require you to move a lot and make quick turns and you need a shoe that would protect your toes against accidental bumps.
- You work out in warm environments and would like a trainer that would keep your feet cool and dry.
Updates to the Reebok Trainfusion Nine 3.0
- Unlike its predecessor, the new version uses synthetics instead of leather in its midfoot overlays. It helped to reduce both the weight and the price of the footwear.
- The Reebok logo has been made smaller and placed at the heel panel. It made the look cleaner and the branding less evident.
Reliable grip and protection
The Reebok Trainfusion Nine 3.0 aims at keeping the trainer light on the foot by combining the midsole and the outsole in a single unit. It is a one-piece rubber and foam compound which renders protection and grip without adding excessive underfoot weight.
The bottom of the unit features flex grooves of various orientation and sizes. They enhance the pliability of the footwear to accommodate natural foot flexion.
Shock-absorbent cushioning
The 3D Ultralite EVA makes up the foam part of the shoe’s sole unit. Created to be lightweight yet durable, it provides a cushiony ride and absorbs shock upon impact.
A small portion of the EVA protrudes upwards on the medial side of the forefoot section. It contributes to foot stability during side-to-side movements.
Another part extends up to cover the front of the trainer, protecting the toes from external bumps.
The heel-to-toe drop of the Trainfusion Nine 3.0 measures at 9.5 mm. Such a differential is more common for running and walking shoes which implies that the shoe is designed to attenuate impact in the heel section.
The die-cut EVA sockliner is added to boost underfoot cushioning. It has a soft nature and molds to the shape of the wearer’s foot for extra comfort.
Breathable upper
The primary coverage of the Reebok Trainfusion Nine 3.0 is comprised of breathable mesh. The ventilation pores allow air to come inside the foot chamber, keeping it fresh and aerated.
The synthetic overlays on both sides of the midfoot add structure to the upper unit.
They are integrated with the lacing system to provide a secure and customizable foothold.
Reinforced high-wear areas
Additional synthetic panels are placed on the heel and on the toe box. They reinforce these high-wear areas for added durability. The lateral side of the heel panel features a small Reebok logo for muted branding.
The Reebok Trainfusion Nine 3.0's rearfoot section
The low-cut design gives the ankle freedom of movement and allows for easy change of direction. However, the heel part of the collar is extended and padded to keep the rearfoot secure and prevent accidental shoe removal.
