User reviews:

Packed with state-of-the-art technologies, the Mizuno Wave Creation Waveknit 2 is designed to deliver an exceptionally comfortable ride. It features a sleeker and snugger upper design that offers a lighter and more natural feel compared to its predecessor.

Every part of this road running shoe is engineered to give a well-protected and smooth running experience. Just like its previous version, the Wave Creation Waveknit 2 incorporates the Wave® plate technology. This material protects the foot from impact while providing luxurious cushioning.

WaveKnit™ technology is also used in the upper for a dynamic a sock-like fit. It is a flexible and lightweight material that offers breathability and long-lasting wear.

The Mizuno Wave Creation WaveKnit™ 2 features the traditional lacing system for a secure and personalized in-shoe feel. Other factors that affect the fit of the shoe are the WaveKnit™ top, padded tongue, and sockliner. These elements are contributors to the attainment of a snug and comfortable fit.

A durable carbon rubber material called the X10 outsole is integrated into the Wave Creation Waveknit 2. This solid rubber outsole protects the foot and rest of the platform from sharp objects and other abrasive elements. The X10 outsole is also featured in other popular Mizuno running shoes like the Mizuno Wave Inspire 15.

The Mizuno Wave® plate is a dynamic cushioning technology that helps distribute shock all over the shoe platform to reduce the risk of injuries. This component provides lasting comfort and support for long-distance runs.

Infinity Wave® technology is used to provide a stable platform. It consists of two parallel plates that sit together. These plates have soft cushioning pillars in-between, which delivers excellent cushioning and durability. The Infinity Wave® plate helps absorb and disperse impact at foot strike.

To minimize the rapid deceleration and acceleration of the foot during transition, SmoothRide technology is utilized. This element aims to provide a smooth transition from heel to toe in every step. The U4icX is also integrated into the midsole to give a stress-free cushioned ride with high rebounds.

A premium sockliner is included in this running shoe for a softer in-shoe feel. It offers added underfoot protection and cushioning for lasting comfort.

The WaveKnit™ top encloses the foot and offers a breathable, sock-like fit. It is a flexible material that keeps the shoe light and allows for continuous airflow, keeping the foot dry and comfortable.

Flat laces are utilized for traditional lace-up closure. The shoelaces offer an adjustable fit that meets personal preference. A padded tongue and shoe collar are also included for additional comfort. The tongue protects the top of the foot from getting pinched by the shoelaces while preventing the entry of small rocks and debris. The collar, on the other hand, provides comfort around the heel while preventing the foot from wobbling during movements.
