                 The Nike Joyride Journey

What inspired the creation of Joyride technology? Unveiled on July 25 of 2019, the Joyride began with a common request from runners. The company and the people behind the technology looked for ways to make running feel easy. It required innovative and creative solutions to solve the problem.

Will Moroski and his team spent years figuring this out. Fortunately, all their hard work paid off. The inspiration turned to reality. The Nike Joyride technology was born.

The Joyride technology is a propriety cushioning system that is made of TPE beads. The beads are made of rubber and plastic materials. Actually, there were 150 materials tested before landing the right ones.

The engineered pods helped the beads migration around the foot. The TPE beads are dispersed within the pods to match the zonal tuning for multi-dimensional displacement.

  • The Nike Joyride CC has pull tabs on the tongue and heel for ease of entry.
  • Other shoes built with Joyride technology are Nike Joyride Run Flyknit, Nike Joyride Dual Run, Nike ISPA Joyride Envelope, Nike Joyride CC3 Setter, and Nike x MMW Joyride CC3.
  • The Nike Joyride CC is also known as Nike Joyride NSW.
