- The lightweight mesh material has been reworked to ensure a healthy ventilation inside the shoe for keeping the user’s feet dry and cool throughout the run.
- The midsole design has been updated for a more even distribution of cushioning between the heel and the forefoot region. This increases the shoe’s comfortability and also the responsiveness.
The shoe runs true to width and length. It comes in the standard running length and a standard medium width of D and B for men and women, respectively. It may be not suitable for runners with wide feet owing to its comparatively narrow toe-box construction. However, it is advisable to try the shoe first.
The abrasion resistant XT-600 carbon rubber on the latest iteration of the Excursion TR offers excellent traction, especially on the tricky surfaces where the chances of slippage are more. This material is also used in the outsole of the Excursion TR 12.
The Multidirectional lug design is placed strategically to further improve the traction of the shoe. This feature results in the shoe’s outsole performing exceptionally well over varied terrains.
The full-length IMEVA midsole is known for its excellent cushioning and enhanced responsiveness. The layer provides enhanced comfortability and at the same time ensures a high energy return which keeps the user going without having to worry about fatigue.
The cushioning of the Saucony Excursion TR 11 is further heightened with the help of the Heel GRID system. The grid system effectively reduces landing impact by allowing the layer underneath the heel to compress, mold itself to the shape of the runner’s foot and provide a well-buffered cushion to the respective region.
The Removable foam insole further enhances the cushioning of the shoe underfoot. It provides a feel of customized comfort to the user.
The 11th iteration of the Saucony Excursion TR 11 utilizes a sturdy yet breathable mesh upper with synthetic overlays for maximum support and ventilation inside the shoe. The synthetic overlays add structure to the shoe’s upper and, being made from a durable material, keep the footwear performing well for a long period of time.
The lace-up closure locks down the foot and maintains a snug fit for the runner throughout the activity.
A Heel Pull Loop assists the user when it comes to wearing and removing the Saucony Excursion TR 11.
The plush collar and tongue secure the user’s foot in place and prevent it from sliding or wobbling inside the shoe.
The breathable fabric lining across the upper provides a comfortable in-shoe feel.
