But for me, I think this shoe is different and cool.
- The updated Nike Zoom Fly SP Fast is crafted using the ice blue/grey and yellow/gum colorways that are visually-appealing to the naked eye. Same as its predecessor, the shoe retains the original details and shape. Minor tweaks and changes were made to improve the footwear.
- The tongue unit uses the military-style text. This adds to the beautiful design of the shoe.
- Another notable element is the lateral Swoosh. This oversized and eye-catching feature creates a clearer branding that is located in the midfoot area. With the updated flecked design, it replaces the familiar track-stripe pattern of the previous model.
Like the original version, the Nike Zoom Fly SP Fast utilizes the standard running shoe measurements. The width profile available for this neutral, road running shoe is D - Medium. Since it's a unisex footwear, both men and women with moderate foot volumes can wear the Zoom Fly SP Fast. With its stretchable upper material, the shoe is sure to provide a snug and comfortable fit throughout the running session.
Integrated into the shoe is the rubber outsole. This component of the footwear is focused on providing the right amount of traction during the running session. It also gives durability to the outer sole.
The Nike Zoom Fly SP Fast uses a unique traction pattern for better grip on both dry and wet surfaces. This is essential in optimizing the way the user runs.
One of Nike's proprietary midsole material, the Lunarlon foam, is used. This durable and lightweight cushioning system is the combination of firm and soft foam compounds. The primary focus of which is to deliver stability and energy return without sacrificing comfort. The material is also responsible for providing better shock absorption, from start to finish.
The carbon-infused nylon plate is utilized in the midsole of the shoe. This material is vital in enhancing the responsiveness of the footwear throughout the run. Aside from encouraging a smoother transition and responsive running experience, the nylon plate also provides a comfortable and durable underfoot protection.
Lying in the upper area are the Flywire cables. Being part of the footwear's lacing system, these cables offer a more secure midfoot lockdown. This technology is essential in maintaining a more secure and snugger fit when compared to the traditional lace-up closure.
Like the Nike Air Zoom Vomero 14, integrated into the Nike Zoom Fly SP Fast is the woven upper. It is described as a durable and semi-translucent material. It aims to provide the foot a breathable coverage without sacrificing fit and flexibility.
