Good to know
It might have taken some time, but finally, Russell Westbrook’s official signature shoe with Jordan is materialized in the Why Not Zer0.1. Initially released in early 2018, this player edition shoe highlights a lightweight mesh upper, a full-length Zoom Air unit, and internal laces - all enclosed in a vinyl shroud that gives it a sleek finish.
The latest installment of the Why Not Zer0.1 called the Chaos wears a slightly different aesthetic. It ditches the shroud and shows off a more traditional look. However, the features of the original version are retained so wearers can expect this basketball shoe to dominate the hardcourt as well.
Building on the success of the first release, Russel Westbrook now has hi second Why Not Zero with the Jordan brand.
Cushion. The brand has fitted the Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 with a full-length Zoom Air unit. This cushioning system provides players with a high level of responsiveness alongside impressive flexibility. Designed for speed and agility, the Zoom Air is lightweight and hard-wearing, withstanding the rigors of on-court action.
Traction. The base of this basketball shoe utilizes a highly durable rubber material. Underneath, it features varied linear patterns that serve to deliver a stable grip in multiple types of surfaces.
Length and Width. The Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 Chaos boasts an excellent fit, which users attest. The woven panels employed on the shoe aid in improving the fit while the central laces give a firm lock-in on the foot. Available in both a men’s and women’s version, this shoe can be expected to fit true to size.
Lockdown. Air Jordan has crafted this basketball shoe to offer stable support that is felt during take-off. This owed to the molded foam heel bucket that secures the foot in place, prevent any slips. Players can benefit well from these features especially when executing quick and high intensity moves on the court.
The Chaos shows off a new type of upper with its updated look. The silhouette is lined with ballistic mesh material with loop-style eyelets spread throughout the upper. The “Why Not?” callout is featured on the tongue while Westbrook graphics appear on the forefoot as well as the insoles.
This Westbrook shoe comes out in a futuristic design that is much fitting for the Oklahoma guard’s bold taste. The bold colors and geometric design on this basketball shoe is a sure scene-stealer on the court. Off the court, these kicks are a good match for any streetwear, adding some sporty style.
The Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 Chaos is released in two colorways as of the moment. These are the following:
- White/Particle Grey-Black-Optic Yellow colorway
- Black/Orange-Grey colorway
