Reebok JJ IV: A collab training shoe that can take on any challenge

Like-minded when it comes to passion for fitness and providing support to people on their fitness journey, Reebok and athlete JJ Watt have teamed up once again for the fourth iteration of their collaboration.

The JJ IV is engineered using Reebok's innovative technologies and decades of experience, along with JJ's insight and feedback. Below are the shoe's main benefits and features:

  • Rebounding stretch and targeted support - This pair's Flexweave woven upper allows you to freedom to move in all directions while providing support to avoid ankle rolls and other injuries.
  • Traction and durability - The outsoles have an excellent grip to provide sure-footing no matter how fast-paced the sessions are.
  • Comfort and impact protection - A combination of cushioned insoles and Reebok's Floatride technology in the heel area ensure effortless explosive movements.
  • Stability - The heel cage and rubber reinforcements that go up both sides of the heel area works excellently for lifting.

A nod to the past

While the Reebok JJ IV's improvements have evolved from its predecessors, the shoe's design pays homage to one of JJ Watts' childhood heroes and Reebok's most notorious models - the AI Question. According to Watts, the collaboration between Allen Iverson and Reebok was one of the most iconic athlete-brand partnerships when he was just a young athlete.

Hence, Watt decided to borrow several design elements from the Reebok AI Question shoe - from the colorways to the toe overlay and lace loop designs.
