With an error margin of half a size, you’re most likely to get the same size you have in Adidas in the following brands: Nike, New Balance, Hoka, etc. As Adidas' subsidiary, Reebok also shares the brand's shoe sizing scheme.

Not the best brand for wide feet
Very few Adidas shoes are available in the Wide or Extra Wide options. Unfortunately, the brand's popular Ultraboost series is not part of the wide bunch.
What to do if wider options are not available?
Based on our caliper measurements, quite a few Adidas shoes in various categories have pretty wide toebox dimensions, even in a standard D width. Go to our respective Adidas shoe catalog pages and apply the Toebox filter to browse through the roomy options from Adidas.
Alternatively, you can also try:
- Going half-a-size up
- Getting a men’s model (if you are a woman) but go 1 full US size smaller than your normal Adidas size (i.e. women’s US 6.5 would be men’s US 5.5)
How various Adidas models fit
Long-time Adidas fans complain about the brand being all over the place with the sizing of its athletic shoes and sneakers. They report having a range of 1-1.5 US sizes within Adidas itself, depending on the shoe model and category.
Having tested dozens of Adidas shoes in our lab, we can subscribe to that 100%. Even though we always measured the internal length of Adidas shoes in the same men's US size 9, we've gotten a wild range of numbers, from 260.1 mm to 280.4 mm!
The best way to pick the right size for you is to check how the model of your interest fits. Unique designs like Adidas Yeezy or Adidas NMD can feel unusually tight or loose because of their peculiar shapes and materials. Some acclaimed silhouettes like Ultraboost running shoes have proved to run true to Adidas size. We also found that the more recent Ultraboost iterations got a little more toebox volume which resulted in a more comfortable experience for daily runs.
Ultraboosts and many other Adidas shoes employ the brand’s proprietary Primeknit upper. This fabric can feel a bit constricting at first but it does loosen up over time.
Other classic sneakers like the Superstar and the Stan Smith can also feel constricting at first due to leather uppers. However, as long as there is a thumbnail’s width space in front of your toes, it shouldn’t cause discomfort.
