Nike Downshifter 11: Lightweight and flexible
Made to free your foot from fatigue, the Downshifter 11 from Nike is a low-budget trainer that's made light with lots of flex for unrestrained foot motions. This construction is owed to the shoe's featherweight mesh upper and cushion system with enough give.
Nike Downshifter 11 vs. 10: Which should you buy?
The 11th iteration of the Downshifter series carries over the same outsole and midsole design from the 10th. Part of the upper updates are the following:
- Added 3D TPU swoosh logo
- A translucent midfoot cage
These refinements are intended to amp up support and lock the foot in place. However, these also have another implication like compromised breathability.
Overall, there's not much change made to the Downshifter 11. If you don't mind spending a few more bucks for a lockdown fit, then go for the 11. Otherwise, just stick with the 10.
