The adidas Supernova Prima 3 is a clear step forward for the series. We found in the lab that the new foam delivers excellent energy return, while the redesigned tongue, roomy fit, and smoother rocker create a more comfortable and enjoyable ride than before. We were also impressed by how adidas achieved good stability without resorting to an extra-wide platform, preserving the agile feel that sets the Supernova series apart from many rivals. The added weight is the biggest compromise and reduces its versatility, but we still believe it's a very good daily trainer.
