Updates

The Cohesion TR 13 is an update to a well-known series of quality and affordable running shoes from Saucony. It is designed for runners and athletes with neutral gaits or those who do not overpronate. This running companion equips the user to run with confidence in any terrain.

This trail running shoe features a reinforced upper for improved fit and durability. The manufacturers also incorporated a new cushioning material called Versafoam technology. This midsole material is tasked to deliver lasting comfort while running over uneven surfaces.

To continue providing superior traction on both wet and dry ground, this updated running shoe still uses the durable rubber outsole that is utilized in its predecessors.

Size and fit

The Saucony Cohesion TR 13 is designed with a standard sizing measurement. However, it is recommended to test the shoe first before making a purchase decision to ensure a comfortable in-shoe feel.

The technical components that influence the fit of the shoe include the shoelaces and padded tongue. These elements are working together to ensure a secure and comfortable fit every time.

Outsole

Providing reliable protection is the segmented rubber material that is used in the outsole of the Saucony Cohesion TR 13. This element offers exceptional durability and excellent traction, empowering the runner to tackle even the toughest of trails.

The outsole is coupled with an aggressive lug pattern, which enhances the shoe’s gripping performance on various surfaces. The flex grooves are also responsible for making the sole lightweight and flexible. This component enables the platform to flex naturally for a smoother running experience.

Midsole

An advanced cushioning material called Versafoam technology is integrated into the Saucony Cohesion TR 13. It is a highly responsive foam that aims to provide long-lasting comfort by absorbing the impact in every stride. This midsole technology has been proven to effectively reduce pressure to promote a smooth-running sensation.

The new Versafoam material is also featured in other popular road running shoes from Saucony like the Saucony Cohesion 12.

A cushioned insole is positioned above the Versafoam midsole. The soft insole is included to provide another layer of cushioning and underfoot protection, providing a more comfortable ride.

Upper

The upper section of the Saucony Cohesion TR 13 is constructed to give a comfortable and secure in-shoe wrap. For excellent durability, the upper utilizes a combination of mesh fabric and synthetic materials. The purpose of the mesh fabric is to maintain a high level of breathability, while the synthetic elements are used to provide structural integrity.

The traditional lacing system is featured in this Saucony running shoe. This component allows for a secure and snug in-shoe feel.

Padded tongue and collar are also infused in the upper for added support. The padded tongue offers additional comfort and protection. While the heel collar prevents the foot from sliding up and down when walking or running.
