Size and fit

SensiFit™ technology hugs the foot from the midsole to the lacing system to provide a customized and snug fit. EndoFit™, on the other hand, improves foot wrapping to further security. The Quicklace™ lacing system of the shoe offers minimalistic and strong lace for convenient shoe entry and exit while delivering an adjustable fit.

The outsole of the Salomon X Alpine Pro is composed of Contragrip® TA rubber outsole, supplying exceptional traction and protects the shoe from abrasive elements when running. It features aggressive multi-directional lugs that increase its traction on varied surfaces and conditions.

This trail running shoe features a climbing zone, a part of the forefoot that delivers the shoe’s sticky grip and transmission for smearing and edging. It is modeled after climbing/approach shoes.

The EnergyCell midsole of the Salomon X Alpine Pro is composed of injected EVA  that attenuates shock and helps pronounce the comfort the shoe delivers.

A lightweight Advanced Chassis™ system is placed in between the shoe’s midsole and outsole. This delivers a stable, efficient, and responsive ride by maximizing the motion control, propulsion and energy management of the shoe.

A molded OrthoLite® insole mimics the natural shape of the foot for long-lasting underfoot support and comfort. This is also found in the Brooks Transcend 6

The X Alpine Pro’s anti-debris mesh upper is a tightly knitted mesh that prevents the entry of abrasive elements and dirt into the shoe while providing flexibility and breathability.

Quicklace™ system allows the adjustable and secure fit of the shoe. For the lacing system’s storage, lace pockets are furnished to the upper of the shoe.

EndoFit™  inner sleeve construction is designed to improve the fit of the shoe and feedback.

SensiFit™ cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing an accurate and secure fit around the foot.

A protective rubber toe cap is employed to add to the protection of the shoe. For lateral and medial protection, a protective mudguard is furnished to the upper.
