Profile of the Nike Air Max Bella TR 2

To keep its footwear choice up-to-date with the most recent trends in performance and style, Nike takes the already well-received Air Bella trainer and revamps it from the ground up. The result is a refreshed cross-trainer for ladies that can be sported for agile circuit workouts as well as heavier weight training.

Outsole

Grippy and durable rubber. The bottom of the trainer is covered by a one-piece rubber outsole. This unit has been made entirely flat to help the foot feel stable during the weightlifting portion of the workout. Upon closer examination, a shallow triangular lug pattern can be seen on the rubber. It aids in effective traction no matter what direction the foot takes.

Midsole

Air Max cushioning. The signature component of the Nike Air Max Bella TR 2 is, of course, the Air Max unit. It is a sturdy yet extremely lightweight gas-filled capsule which restores its shape easily after the impact. Placed under the wearer’s heel, it takes on most of the shock throughout the training session. This transparent unit is embedded into a responsive foam midsole which enhances the cushioning effect.

Side-to-side stability. The entire platform of the shoe has a low-profile design. It means that the foot is placed rather close to the ground, giving the wearer more control of the movement. In addition, the edges of the midsole have been significantly extended on both sides. This construction also eliminates the chance of the foot sliding off the sole.

Upper

Lightweight support. Top of the foot is wrapped in a lightweight and breathable fabric. Its textured design helps to deliver a snug fit. A sturdy synthetic heel strap wraps around the heel. It serves to minimize foot wobbling when it comes to squats with heavy loads. The strap is also integrated with the lacing system which allows to tighten it up as much as needed. Aside from the heel strap, the rearfoot is also supported by a generously padded heel cup.
