Adidas Boston Super: A highlight of 80s running catalog

Adidas introduced the Boston Super in the 80s during the Boston Marathon. This iteration is usually used for collaborations and appears as a hybrid model, but in 2013, Adidas thought of reviving it in its 1 to 1 version. The brand brought this classic running footwear back to pay homage to the Boston Athletic Association.

Because of its success, the Boston Super paved the way for the success of other running models, such as the Adidas ZX and EQT line. And just like the Boston Super, the EQT and the ZX also made a transition off the running tracks to the city streets. Their fashionable look and all-day cozy feel are the essential features that work for the lifestyle category.

Features of the Adidas Consortium Boston Super

Back in its original form, the Adidas Originals Boston Super is made of nylon mesh upper with suede overlays. It is reinforced and beautified with the classic 3-Stripe branding on the side, and under it is the colored midsole. Found inside is the plush leather lining that adds extra comfort to its wearers. This sneaker is finished with a metallic vintage callout to complete the authentic retro vibe look.
