There are several technical components affecting the fit of the shoe. This includes the shoe’s mesh upper which secures the snug fit and adaptability of this trail running shoe. The lacing system of the shoe also delivers an adjustable fit. Attached to the lacing system are the synthetic overlays that enhance the security of the Merrell Mix Master Move Glide.

The M Select™ GRIP provides the outsole with durable traction that grips on different surfaces. It also contributes to the flexibility possessed by the shoe.

Merrell Float™ midsole is recognized for being 10% thinner and 25% lighter. This promotes more ground feel and ground control. This also provides extra cushioning to the shoe to deliver comfort.

To accommodate orthotics, a perforated ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) removable footbed is utilized to intensify cushioning. It is known for being highly durable and lightweight. Such can also be found in the Hoka One One Bondi 6.
