K-Swiss Aero Court’s design is highly influenced by the technologically-advanced Aero Knit. The brand managed to keep the timeless look of K-Swiss tennis shoes from decades past but in a much lighter built.
By injecting state-of-the-art specs such as Surgelite, Durawrap, and a seam-free upper, this profile becomes adaptive to clay court and hard court playing surfaces. The cooling benefits of the mesh upper and moisture-wicking sockliner make this footwear an even more comfortable choice for serious court performances.
Durability value. The bottommost part of the shoe utilizes the Aosta 7.0 rubber compound. It’s a high-density material that offers strength from heel to toe. Such material is designed to survive a protracted time on any tennis court surface.
Grip level. The herringbone tread is applied to the entire outsole. Such wavy-looking design is meant to deliver sufficient traction, be it on clay or hard court. It isn’t too grippy that it would hinder smooth foot transitions.
Cushioning. The entire midsole is treated to a compression-molded EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) process to deliver full-length comfort. Specifically, the brand utilized a patented version called Surgelite. This tech is engineered to be durable and lightweight material that minimizes repeated impact during hard landings.
Support. Preventing the midfoot from unwanted twisting is the Plantar Support Chassis. It mainly works as a stability source that allows forefoot flexing while the rearfoot gets planted on the ground. This feature minimizes the chances of getting foot aches and ankle injuries, usually caused by unwanted foot rotation.
Lightness. Several components are interlaced on the upper to make it light, stable, and durable. This model eliminated the use of seams traditionally applied in most tennis shoes. Instead, it fused the synthetic leather and mesh together to trim the unnecessary weight.
Security. It’s designed with Stay-Tied Laces to inhibit the chances of getting those strings undone and cause distractions during matches. Such a closure system is meant to make the wearer achieve his desired fit.
Ventilation. To maintain a relatively cool and breathable chamber within, Aero Court is devised with a textile collar lining and a moisture-wicking Ortholite sockiner.
Added Protection. Creating a bonus layer of protection on the toe area is the Durawrap Light. This wear-resistant element buffers the foot, especially during frequent toe dragging. On the extreme end, the shoe is devised with a Heel Grip lining which hugs the heel and discourages it from slipping.
