Updates to Under Armour Charged CoolSwitch

  • The Charged CoolSwitch features the 360° ventilation that is strategically placed from the midsole to the outsole unit. It is designed to deliver maximum breathability and ultimate cooling system for a cooler running experience.
  • For a reliable cushioning, the Under Armour Charged CoolSwitch utilizes the two-piece Charged Cushioning® midsole foam. This compressed foam is engineered to deliver durable underfoot protection and high-energy return for a responsive ride.
  • This affordable running shoe also features the UA CoolSwitch lining, which provides coating to the interior of the shoe, keeping the foot feeling cooler and comfortable all throughout the run. It pulls the heat away, allowing runners to run longer on the road.

Under Armour Charged CoolSwitch size and fit

The Under Armour Charged CoolSwitch has a standard running shoe length. The men and women’s version of the shoe has a standard medium width. The shoe has a nice and comfortable fit for users with medium foot shapes.

A durable rubber compound is strategically placed in the sole unit of the Under Armour Charged CoolSwitch. The rubber material provides durable coverage to the high-impact zones, protecting the sole unit from wear and damages. It also provides the right amount of traction needed for road running.

To keep the foot cooler even after a long-distance run, small perforations are evenly distributed in the sole unit of the shoe. These holes, that are part of the 360° ventilation system, provide the ventilation to the foot for a breathable running experience.

In the midsole of the Charged CoolSwitch is a two-piece Charged Cushioning® system. The foam is made from a durable compressed midsole foam that provides better shock absorption and high-energy return. The foam provides the right amount of cushioning for long-distance runs and encourages a more responsive ride. This responsive cushioning performs well like the Gel cushioning used in the Cumulus 20 Asics running shoe.

A perforated sockliner provides additional cushioning to the foot. It also offers ventilation together with the shoe’s 360° cooling system, keeping the foot cool and ready to run longer.

This Under Armour shoe utilizes a stretch upper material that provides the foot a light and breathable coverage. It also hugs the foot comfortably for an enhanced fit.

Incorporated into the breathable upper material is the UA CoolSwitch lining. The lining provides the foot with a soft and cool environment. It encourages the wearers to run an extra mile by pulling the heat away.

The Under Armour Charged CoolSwitch has a traditional lacing system that don’t loosen easily. It also provides a more secure foot lockdown.

Lastly, the presence of a heel tab facilitates the easy entry of the foot.
