- Updates are done in the upper of the Kinvara 6. The FlexFilm provides a more enjoyable fit but it keeps the light weight of the upper. With the open mesh material, the upper is more breathable and comfortable for the toes and the mid-foot.
The Kinvara 6 fits true to size and comes with a standard running shoe length. The fit for the heel is in medium to narrow, medium to low volume for the mid-foot, medium for the toe box and forefoot, and medium-high for its arch structure.
The Saucony Kinvara 6 is equipped with an outsole that is made from the XT-900 Premium Carbon Rubber offers the traction, grip, and durability at an excellent quality. The bottom part of the outsole has the Triangular Lug design and it is used to provide the traction and the added cushion for the underfoot. The iBR+ is placed also in the mid-foot, enhancing the cushioning feel and making the transition smoother.
The midsole of the Kinvara 6 is designed with the full-length EVA+ that is light in weight, durable, and plush. Working with this is the Decoupled Heel that flexes the entire sole on the gait cycle. The heel is also provided with better traction. The Heel Power Grid is the combination of the Grid Technology and the Powerfoam, thus creating responsiveness and cushiony feel.
The upper of the Kinvara 6 has the lightweight Open Mesh fabric that covers the upper for breathability. Saucony also used the FlexFilm Overlay system, which is a thin film of overlay welded into the upper for a snugger and more secure fit. It also has the RunDry Collar lining that wicks away moisture and the Pro-Lock lacing system. The Internal Cleatie also helps wrap the foot in a sock-like fit. The Comfortlite Sockliner is also there for a contoured heel and arch, thus reduce pressure for a better and more enjoyable ride.
