Puma Thunder Rive Droite History

The Puma Thunder series has been a success since it first launched the Puma Thunder Spectra in the first quarter of 2018. Since then, the collection has gone with many variants that include the Puma Thunder Electric and Puma Thunder Desert.

The Puma Thunder Rive Droite shoes, meanwhile, came out much later in time for Winter 2018. Puma’s senior head of Select Yassine Saidi was instrumental for the namesake brand’s creative director Lama Jouni to engage in a partnership for the Puma Thunder Rive Droite.  The modern approach of the design is to keep the shoe minimalist, classic, and ready to wear but still having that edge to stand out.

Aside from the Puma Thunder Rive Droite, another collaborative model launched with the Dubai-based label is the Puma Thunder Rive Gauche which were both inspired by Jouni’s Parisian stay while learning Fashion Design at Parsons and under the helm of luxury fashion houses balmain and Red Hourani.
