Job post: Videographer in Aveiro
Most people I talk to say, "What... does such a job even exist?" Yes, and here it is!
I'm Jens, founder of RunRepeat, the world's most influencial website about running shoes (... and other athletic footwear). 4 million people read our reviews each month. If you're a professional videographer, you need to join our team.
Why you'll love working with us
- 100% flexibility. No rules about when you work, as long as you do your job. No 9 am to 6 pm. Do what works for YOU!
- We have minimal bureaucracy and high autonomy. In RunRepeat, you OWN your work. There are no deadlines, other than the ones you set yourself. This only works for skilled and self-driven individuals.
- Barely any meetings. I myself have zero planned meetings per week.
- ~10 warm colleagues from around the World: Portugal (2), Spain (2), Ukraine (2), Serbia (2), Denmark (1, that's me, your boss), Poland (1), and Argentina, living in Portugal (1).
- A yearly meetup, all paid for by RunRepeat. We’ve previously been to: Greece, France, Turkey, Thailand, the Philippines, Italy, and Denmark.
What you might not love
- Only 3 of your colleagues are working from Aveiro (2x photographer + 1x biomechanical engineer). The rest of us work remotely, from home. You do not get to see most of your colleagues a lot. While I'd love everyone to be in Aveiro, the existing team is so good and has been here 7+ years on average.
- You'll work from Aveiro at least 4 days/week (we'll pay for relocation if needed). The other day(s), you'll be editing and can work from the lab or remotely.
- Our feedback culture is direct and not packaged and polished. It's not for everyone.
- We're focused on our work, and there's not a lot of chit-chatting.
- We don't have a fancy office with the newest 2026 coffee machine, table tennis and so on. We have a lab where we get shit done!

Your job in a nutshell
The job consists of two primary responsibilities.
(1) Primary task: Videography
Shoot and edit mostly reels for Instagram and the likes, but later also longer-form media for social media
- Shoot
- Edit
Also relevant to work on if interested: (3) participate in ideation, (4) SoMe management (posting, scheduling, engaging). Otherwise someone else from the team will handle that part.
You must have actual experience in creating fast paced short form media. I'm not looking for one who is "willing to learn". I'm looking for one who can OWN this and be autonomous.
(2) Secondary task: Photography/video for lab reviews
- Organise shoes for testing
- (Optional benefit) Go for a run in the shoes (only if you're size US 9 +/-)
- Shoot contextual photos/video of the shoes
- Shoot indoor lab testing photos and videos
- Cut the shoes in half and run through our full testing protocol - no experience needed, we'll teach you.
- Edit photos and short video clips, documenting our testing.
The end result is the media that you see on our lab-tested shoes - see an example here.
While the above are your primary tasks, we have lots of other tasks to be done, depending on your interests and skills.
