Updates to Skechers YOU - Zen

  • The Skechers You - Zen is part of the brand’s wide range of walking shoes designed with comfort in mind. It features a slip-on construction with a stretchy fabric that wraps the foot for a supportive feel. The material is breathable to keep the foot fresh.
  • The full-length midsole provides a responsive cushioning for all-day comfort. It decreases the shock felt by the foot. The platform is also made to be durable since it doubles as the outsole. The underside features a multidirectional tread pattern to enhance traction.

Skechers YOU - Zen size and fit

The Skechers You - Zen caters to female consumers, so it is only available in women’s sizes. Lengthwise, it follows the standard measurement scheme. It is attainable in U.S. sizes 5 to 13. As for the width, it comes in B - Medium and D - Wide profiles.

Outsole

The outsole of the Skechers You - Zen is an extension of the midsole. It is made to be durable to withstand the wear and tear of walking on pavements. It features a multidirectional tread design, so it doesn’t slip when the user turns or changes direction quickly. The tread pattern also enhances the grip on most surfaces.

Midsole

The Skechers You - Zen employs a full-length cushioning platform. This sole unit is engineered to be soft and responsive to attenuate shock and provide comfort to the foot. Its bouncy characteristic propels the foot forward to keep the user walking effortlessly.

The footgear uses a cushioned insole inside. It adds to the responsiveness of the midsole for longer comfort and better shock absorption.

Upper

The Skechers You - Zen sports a slip-on construction. The upper is made of a socklike knit fabric that conforms to the foot and delivers a snug fit without being restrictive. It is designed to accommodate the expansion of the foot as it moves.

This slip-on style pair of walking shoes uses a nearly one-piece breathable fabric ensures that the foot chamber is well-ventilated. The collar uses a soft, stretchable component that makes the shoe easier to put on.

The heel area is padded to keep the foot locked in and prevent it from slipping out of the shoe. The extended back collar serves as a heel tab which the owner could pull to get the foot inside quickly.
