Skechers D'Lites 2 - One Piece History
Skechers was established in 1992 and was founded by Robert Greenberg. Their key product is lifestyle footwear that comes in a range of styles designed for consumers aged 5 to 40. This wide selection Skechers shoe designs that appeal to an extensive group of customers has been the brand's ticket to their success, especially in the US. However, before Skechers was conceived, Greenberg's first venture was LA Gear.
Robert Greenberg was also the founder of LA Gear, but after almost a year, he found himself engrossed in another interest: setting up a brand of shoes marketed as skate shoes and utility boots. From then on, Skechers has continuously released new models that appealed to consumers and followed the latest trends.
One of its many offerings is the Skechers D'Lites 2 – One Piece, a descendant of Skechers' most popular chunky models called the Skechers D'Lites. This particular model is a collaboration with the One Piece anime. Initially released exclusively in South Korea and China markets, the shoe was offered in several color schemes, each inspired by one of the most popular characters from the series.
Here are the different colorways and their corresponding character: White / Pink (WPK) – Doflamingo, White / Green (WGR) – Zoro, White / Black / Gold (WBGD) – Law, White / Pink / Blue (WPBL) – Chopper, White / Multi (WMLT) – Monkey D. Luffy, and White / Black / Blue (WBKB) – Sanji.
