  • 96 / 100 | Two Blondes Walking | | Level 1 expert

All in all, I would recommend the Keen Terradora as a mid-weight walking boot for autumn or spring walks if you want something very comfortable.

High performing, good-looking and comfortable straight out of the box – I wouldn’t expect less from Keen.

After getting the lacing just right on each foot, and wearing these trail shoes on a long and satisfying hike, I can truly say that you can't go wrong with a pair of Terradoras if you're looking for moderate support, all day comfort, and dry feet.

  • The Terradora Leather Mid Waterproof has a women-specific construction and is designed for hiking all year round. Its nubuck upper has mesh and Keen.Dry linings which render comfort and protection.
  • Providing a cushioned and stable ride is a combination of low-density EVA midsole and ESS shank. A bi-density PU foam gives arch support. On the other hand, a brand-owned outsole makes the cleat grip on various terrain types.

The Terradora Leather Mid Waterproof is a day hiking cleat for women. According to Keen, it runs narrow. This hiker also comes in whole and half sizes. The lace-up closure of the cleat allows customization of overall fit and volume.

Granting a grippy ride to users is the Keen All-Terrain rubber outsole. It has 4 mm multi-directional lugs which grip on to most types of terrain. The grooves in toe and heel areas are designed to deliver traction on uphill and downhill slopes, respectively.

This mid-top, waterproof leather version of the Terradora model from Keen comes with a low-density EVA midsole. This foam cushions each strep without adding weight to the user’s foot. For underfoot rigidity and arch support, it is equipped with an ESS shank and a dual-density PU foam footbed.

This leather hiking cleat grants protection and comfort on the trails through its nubuck leather upper lined with a breathable mesh lining. To protect against wet encounters, it comes with the Keen.Dry membrane, a waterproofing barrier which also allows the foot to breathe. The toe and heel areas are scuff-proof, thanks to the added leather reinforcements.

The brand’s designers also optimize comfort by incorporating a cushion panel. This feature relieves the pressure off the Achilles tendon for a more comfortable flex. Also, its contoured collar adds a cozy feel.

This gear uses a combination of webbing, grommets, and hooks in its lacing system. The cord loop near the ankle area acts as a heel lock (when users tighten the laces) to enhance stability. Lastly, a pull tab is placed at the back of the cleat to assist in on and off.
