The Brooks Addiction Walker V-Strap is lined with rubber at the bottom. It is a certified slip-resistant material that provides traction on different types of surfaces.

Its forefoot construction is patterned after the brand’s proprietary MC Pod configuration. It places the foot in an efficient, balanced, and stabilized position from heel strike to toe-off. It gives flexibility and motion control.

The Brooks Addiction Walker V-Strap is engineered to as a motion-control walking shoe due to the combination of technologies that support and control low arches and overpronation. One of these technologies is the Extended Progressive Diagonal Rollbar (PDRB) which serves as a support system for the arch for progressive pronation control. It allows for smoother transitions between the midstance phase and propulsion. 

The BioMoGo DNA midsole molds to the foot shape for personalized cushioning. It adapts to the wearer’s speed, weight, and stride for customized impact protection. It is also made to deliver energy transfer that propels the foot forward upon foot strike. The midsole is made from durable and environmentally friendly materials that are meant to dissolve once it reaches an active and enclosed landfill.

The insole offers a pleasant underfoot experience. It is removable to accommodate custom orthotics and inserts.

A full-grain leather material makes up this part of the Brooks Addiction Walker V-Strap. It is made to be comfortable, supportive, and durable during walks.

The dual hook-and-loop closures secure the footwear and lock the foot down. They are adjustable according to the tester’s preferences.
