  • The Under Armour SpeedForm Slingride gives runners a great time when running on the roads. It has an appealing look that caters to casual shoe enthusiasts. The visual flair makes it versatile when it comes to its functionality. It allows its wearer to be more stylish when running or walking around the urban landscapes.
  • High quality fabrics are used in the upper unit. The SpeedForm® Technology basically makes the shoe more adherent to the natural shape and curve of the human foot. Runners are afforded precise and comfortable coverage because of such a design. Dyneema® is also used in this model. Touted as the world’s strongest fiber, it aptly maintains upper durability without sacrificing flexibility.
  • The mid-sole unit of the Under Armour SpeedForm Slingride utilizes two highly efficient foams. The first one is able to attenuate impact shock during the landing phase of the gait cycle. The second one has a springy nature that enables the foot to bounce back for an efficient toe-off.
  • Blown rubber is a durable foam that has cushioning properties. It is able to protect the foam mid-sole from the abrasive nature of the asphalt. It is also capable of providing additional cushioning, flexibility and springiness to each step. It’s not hard or unresponsive like other rubber compounds. It allows natural foot flexibility to take place. There are flex grooves in the forefoot section, and they greatly improve the output when it comes to the toe-off.

The Under Armour SpeedForm Slingride has a standard running shoe length. It comes in sizes that follows the regular preferences of men and women. The available width for both genders is medium. It accommodates those with medium sized feet. It has a semi-curved shape, which adheres to the natural curve of the human foot.

Blown rubber is placed on the surface of the external sole unit. It protects the foam platform from the abrasive nature of the asphalt. It also gives reliable surface traction, which helps in keeping each step as tight and precise as possible. This rubber material is also flexible, so it allows the natural movement of the foot to take place. This outsole material is also used in the SpeedForm Slingshot 2.

Flex grooves are placed anatomically, giving flexibility in the forefoot area. The foot is afforded the freedom to move naturally as it steps on the ground and as it lifts off of it.

Charged Foam is a high quality material that cushions the foot well. Part of its purpose is to absorb impact shock during the landing phase of the gait cycle, thus shielding the underfoot from any discomfort.

Micro G® is a very responsive foam unit. It cushions the foot well as it strikes the ground. It also enables the runner to achieve a more efficient toe-off because of its springy nature. It doesn’t easily break down or lose structural integrity, making it as efficient as when it was first used.

Seamless coverage is afforded to the runner via the UA SpeedForm® technology. Runners can enjoy the Under Armour SpeedForm Slingride without worrying about skin irritation or blisters.

The Dyneema® fabric is used in this shoe. It’s a world-class material that’s advertised as the strongest. It doesn’t easily tear apart, but it doesn’t make the cover system feel stiff or unwieldy.

A Seamless Zonal Compression unit in the mid-foot area locks the foot in place. It makes the heel-to-toe transitions faster and more efficient.

A Molded Seamless Heel Cup secures the heel and prevents it from wobbling in place. It also prevents accidental shoe-removals.
