  • The Vasque Snowblime UltraDry is designed to handle activities in the winter season. It comes with a 1.8 mm thick leather upper for protection, comfort and durability.
  • Its Vasque Venture outsole features the brand-owned ColdHold technology. The alternating density of the lugs allows it to bite on different types of terrain.
  • A compression molded EVA is used as its midsole for a cushioned ride. Its TPU shank renders support and its bi-density EVA footbed further enhances comfort.

The Snowblime UltraDry from Vasque is a winter hiking boot for men and women. It generally runs true to size. This pair is offered in standard width and regular sizes.

Vasque engineers used the Perpetuum last in molding the shape of the boot. It is built on a straight line which caters those with flat foot. Its toe box is spacious while its instep is tailored. This design, plus a low heel volume, helps lock the foot in place.

The Vasque Venture outsole’s grip on icy terrain is optimized by ColdHold technology, a dual-density rubber compound. The lugs on the side are firmer while the central boots are pliable, increasing the sensitivity of the boot on irregular grounds.

The Vasque Snowblime UltraDry features a compression molded EVA midsole. Its lightweight cushioning makes each stride more comfortable. The boot comes with a TPU midfoot shank for support and stiffness. Additionally, a dual-density EVA footbed sits atop the midsole unit to deliver comfort.

This mid-cut winter hiking boot uses a 1.8 mm polyurethane coated leather. This durable material is enveloped with a rubber rand on the forefoot for added sturdiness. At the back of the foot is a TPU counter which renders stability and provides rearfoot protection. The heel kick, on the other hand, helps keep a snowshoe on.

Inside is a fleece collar and 200 g 3M Thinsulate which keeps the foot warm even at very low temperatures. To maintain a dry and cool in-shoe feel, the brand designers incorporated a proprietary waterproof membrane, the UltraDry.

For enhanced comfort, the boot also carries the CuShin Comfort Tongue Technology. It has an internal waffle mesh and four-way stretch nylon which promotes a comfortable flex. It helps minimize the pressure on the shin to the top of the tongue.

The lacing system of the Snowblime UltraDry includes a round lace and metal D-rings and speed hooks. Near the toe area is an extra D-ring for gaiter attachment. The pull loop at the heel—which can also accommodate a gloved finger—aids in a smooth on and off.
