- This running shoe, the Under Armour Charged Toccoa 2, is designed for runners who have neutral foot motion. The upper section of the Charged Toccoa 2 has been updated when compared to the first version. It now uses a mesh with synthetic overlays. This mesh is described to be lightweight and breathable that is meant to provide durability and support.
- It utilizes the Dual-layer Charged Cushioning in the midsole area. This cushioning system is described to be softer in the forefoot and firmer in the heel section. Its primary focus is to provide the perfect blend of flexibility, support, balance, cushioning, and comfort during the running session. As a result, improved performance is experienced by the user.
- The outsole of this trail running shoe has been modified, as well. It still utilizes the high-abrasion rubber outsole, but the grooves are modified. These outsole grooves are significant to ensure added flexibility during the run.
The Under Armour Charged Toccoa 2 is available in men’s and women’s versions. The shoe incorporates materials that affect the fit, which include: leather overlays that provide foot support, padded tongue and collar for comfortable security, and lace-up closure that offer an adjustable fit. This running shoe is suited for neutral pronators or runners with high arches.
The high-abrasion rubber traction outsole pattern is integrated into the Under Armour Charged Toccoa 2. This component of the shoe aims to deliver the right amount of grip needed in tackling challenging terrains. It provides extended durability to the platform, as well.
Located in the outsole area of the running shoe is the anatomically-placed flex grooves. This is essential in delivering enough flexibility in critical areas that need it most.
Built to improve the performance of the runner is the Dual-layer Charged Cushioning midsole. This feature of the shoe is vital in providing the right amount of support and comfort needed when tackling a wide variety of terrains. It is composed of a cushioning that is described to be firmer below the heel area and softer below the forefoot section. This midsole is focused on delivering a more responsive and lightweight riding experience.
An individualized fit and stability are encouraged by the die-cut, full-length ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) sockliner. As a result, a more customized fit and added comfort are enjoyed by the user during the running session.

Like the Altra Lone Peak 4.0, the traditional lace-up closure is utilized in crafting the shoe. The primary purpose of this is to deliver a more secure fit when running.
The cushioned tongue and collar are integrated into the platform. Under Armour added these features to provide more comfort throughout the running activity.
